Our final despatch day before Christmas is 20th December, we will reopen on 2nd January.

Display Wizard Begin Partnership with Arthritis Care

Display Wizard are delighted to announce a new partnership with the
charity Arthritis Care, a UK-based charity which aims to support people living with the condition. Arthritis is the number one cause of physical disability in the UK, affecting over 10 million people, including Olivia J. Jenner – the partner of Display Wizard’s Peter Symonds

To aid the fantastic work of Arthritis Care, Display Wizard donated 5% of all banner stand sales throughout November 2014 as a starting point for their partnership.

Sally Hiscutt, co-owner of Display Wizard, explains the reasons for this support:

There’s no doubt that arthritis can have a huge effect on people’s lives, particularly with pain during movement, but often what isn’t known is the many ways the condition can be managed.

As this is a condition that affects Olivia we felt we should support a charity that we know from first-hand experience can have a transformative effect on people’s lives.

Hopefully this month can be the start of our long-lasting support for the amazing work that Arthritis Care are doing every day.

About Arthritis Care

Arthritis Care aims to support people living with the condition so they can lead full and content lives. They do this by teaching people the best ways to manage the physical and mental aspects of living with arthritis so they can cope and not feel isolated by its effects. This range of support can be anything from advising on the best diet, improving someone’s exercise regime, starting a new hobby, or simply giving advice on how to deal with everything on their helpline.

Arthritis Care also aims to change the perception of people living with the condition – it is often thought to be a condition affecting solely older people, however many young people are affected by the condition as well, and the charity looks at ways to support all age groups. What’s more, they are a user-led charity, meaning that people with arthritis are involved with all aspects of running the charity.
