Our Year in Review: 2017

Well, where to start.

2017 has certainly been a year to remember for all here at Display Wizard.

We’ve enjoyed our most successful financial year to date, expanded both our premises and our team in the process, adding fresh talent to all departments within the business.With that said, we wanted to take a look back at the key events that occurred within our business this year, as well as provide a taster of what's to come in 2018.

Stand Design Divination

Our Exhibition Stand Design Service entered its second year, and with it, we became the official stand supplier for TrustPilot at a number of high profile events.With our help, many other companies were able to gain brand exposure and showcase their offering in an ultra-professional light using our Vision Exhibition System.

Enchanting Exhibitions

Back in February, we exhibited at Prolific North Live for the first time, and after a hugely successful event, it’s fair to say it certainly won’t be the last!

It was here where we conducted most of our primary research for our Trade Show Trends Report, which has later gone on to gain widespread recognition in the industry.

We hope this research provides supporting evidence for event organisers, and guidance for exhibitors going forward.

Spellbinding Shell Schemes

2017 also saw us launch our Shell Scheme Hire Service as we looked to expand into new markets within the exhibition industry.

Our first project involved us collaborating with Wandsworth Borough Council for the Employ Wandsworth job fair, which was a huge success according to a spokesman for the council.

We were humbled to be selected after a long procurement process and delighted to be able to help with such a worthwhile cause.

Student Sorcery

Our student graphic design competition returned for the second year, and once again, the winner was from Blackburn College - demonstrating the prestigiousness of this design school.

This task involved designing a 3x3 pop up stand and a roller banner, as well as supplying a brief explaining the inspiration behind the designs.

What's more, the winner also got the chance to come and be a wizard during a week-long internship!

Conjuring Collaboration

Aside from numerous charitable donations, we were also busy agreeing on a number of collaborative partnerships, most notably with our friends over at St John’s Hospice.

In 2018 we want to help promote the charity in the Garstang area as well as assisting with a number of fundraising events.
