Display Wizard’s student graphic design competition has been re-launched for the 2016/2017 academic year.

The competition, now in its second year, saw a number of fantastic entrants last time around from universities and colleges across the country, with three creative winning designs chosen amongst a wide range of entries.

The winner this time around will be lucky enough to receive a Wacom Intuos Pro tablet, £500 in prize money and their stands printed by their University/College on top of the benefits it brings to the winner’s CV.

One of last year’s winning students, Michael Jackson, said of the competition:

“This was a great brief to work on that provided a lot of scope for creativity. Winning the competition and undertaking the internship has been a great experience for me personally and should aid my professional career going forward.”As long as you are a registered student at a UK institution, entering the competition is extremely easy:

  • Using the templates provided, you will need to design two eye-catching promotional stands that show the social or cultural benefits of being a student at your institution.

  • You will also need to write a 250-word essay to explain the inspiration behind the designs.

  • All entries will need to be made before 1st May 2017
